  Ken – Storied Success

Ken Lacy is the founder of Storiedsuccess.com, an online forum where people can come and listen to other people’s success stories.

Having attended many events involving experienced and accomplished speakers, Ken noted that almost all had personal stories to tell. But, how about those of us who have a story to tell and no far reaching platform from which to speak? What better forum than the Internet?

That’s how Storiedsuccess.com was born! And now, thousands of viewers come to StoriedSuccess.com to listen to our success stories.

Stories have always been important to us. From the earliest rudimentary drawings made deep in caves, stories are how we, as people, communicate with one another. Stories are told for a number of reasons: to impart information, to illustrate a point, to teach, to convey humor, create fear, etc. We all like hearing stories. Especially, stories about success.

Storied Success conducts interviews of interesting and successful people and posts their success stories for you to listen to. We're all seeking something. That's part of being alive. As long as we're alive and active, we are moving towards something.

We welcome you to listen to the success stories on our website. Most are informative, some are funny and many are inspiring. You will find the people we interview to be mostly professionals from all walks of life and from around the country. They include authors, professors, health care professionals, people engaged in athletic pursuits, entrepreneurs, and many others.

On A Personal Note

Ken was born in Dover, Delaware in 1938. His parents moved to southern NJ in 1940 where he attended elementary and secondary schools. He graduated from Merchantville High School in 1956. Then, he attended Dickinson College and graduated in 1960. Ken married his high school sweetheart, Joyce, in June of that year and went to work for General Chemical Company as a chemist in Morristown, NJ. In 1963, Ken left the field of chemistry and entered graduate business school.  Ken graduated from the Wharton School of Business and Finance with an MBA degree in 1965. For most of his business career he has been engaged in providing merger and acquisition advisory services to middle market-sized companies as an investment banker with several boutique firms.

Ken lives with his wife, the former Joyce Toth in Haddonfield, NJ, which is within the Greater Philadelphia region. They’ve raised four children, Bill, Liz, James and John, all of whom are married.  Additionally, they have five grandchildren, Eric, Sarah, Ryan, Kate and Isabelle. With all that baby activity the years have flown by in their 49 years of marriage.  Ken’s family enjoys many outdoor activities and especially loves getting together each year in August at their place on the Outer Banks in NC.
